Butterflies at RHS Wisley 2016
BUTTERFLIES AT WISLEY
16th January - 6th March 2016
I visit the butterfly event at Wisley every year and often run school workshops inspired by the beautiful butterflies I see there. Inspired by these visits I raised baby butterflies at home, and planned a series of sculptures around the theme of the life cycle. Being aware of my work because of my connection with the Surrey Sculpture Society, Wisley contacted me and asked me to create a sculpture trail during their Butterflies in the Glasshouse event. The 2015 exhibition was a great success and I have been invited to work with them again this year.
I'll be in the Glasshouse Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the Butterfly Event, demonstrating, selling my smaller sculptures (leaves, bugs, flowers etc.) and doing workshops.
