Kingfield School: Meadow

 

Project brief: To spend 2 days at the school working with pupils and parents and create a permanent sculpture for the school.

The school use this lovely banner on their website so I thought it would be a nice idea to use it as a starting point for the sculpture, making the sun, grass and clouds out of metal (the wall painted blue for the sky), then get the children to design bugs, birds, animals and flowers that we can also make to fill in the scene.
