Alison has made the most beautiful sculpture to represent our School emblem and core values. The piece is absolutely beautiful, everything we hoped it would be and more. Thankyou Alison.

Dear Alison,
I just wanted to tell you what a tremendous "hit" the parrot has been. My husband is so delighted with it. The parrot is amazing as he is filled with so much "character" he's become a real friend in such a short space of time - we all love him!
Thank you so much for all your hard work and endeavours to create him, we can't wait to be able to deliver him to his final home in the Grenadines.
Thank you once again - he's fantastic!

All the best.

Amanda

Alison created our beautiful sculpture "The Knowledge Tree" at Hersham Library. The sculpture was commissioned by Friends of Hersham Library and generously funded by The RC Sherrif Trust, Elmbridge Borough Council, Hersham residents and local organisations. The project involved
five local schools and 36 children designers. After many months of
preparation on our side, Alison started working on the actual sculpture in June 2009 and had it completed on time and incredibly gorgeous for our unveiling ceremony in October 2009. The sculpture is huge: 2.5m by 3m. It is made of more than 60 components all welded or fastened together or to the wall. There are 45 leaves on the tree. From day one Alison was extremely receptive to and supportive of our ideas. She loved working with the children and was especially careful to respect their drawings while re-creating them in 3D. The sculpture is a joy to behold and you could look at it for hours and still find new details to enjoy. Alison is not only an extremely gifted sculptress but also a wonderful, cheerful, kind person to work with. She was always ready to incorporate new material, ran workshops for local children and an additional workshop for OAPs, which was much enjoyed by all. The whole project has been a wonderful success and a credit to her creative and practical abilities. Alison, you are a star! I hope many more schools and libraries are able to boast an Alison Catchlove sculpture in the future! On behalf of all of us a Hersham Library, A HUGE THANK YOU!

Hi there Alison. I LOVE your pieces of metal work. I know you because you come to my school (alexandra junior school) every friday. Everyone thinks it is amazing how you make different types of sculptures. Thankyou for all your hard work and coming to our school to work with us!

I always have my eye open for unusual and gorgeous art works - Alisons sculptures are some of my favorite pieces. I have several of her piranhas around my garden pond and my friends all think they are wonderful - definitely a talking point at garden parties!

I first saw your work at a craft fair, and thought the "quirky" birds were great. You obviously have a really good sense of humour! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I received two magpies, some mushrooms and some lovely flowers as a wedding gift. I have them all displayed in my garden and have had lots of lovely comments from neighbours and people passing by. Hopefully I will soon be adding some of your delightful bumble bees, dragonflies and maybe a butterfly or two to my collection.
Thanks!
