Brief: To make a Chough (a fairly unusual bird, similar to a rook)

I was asked to do this by a customer who saw my birds on display at the Bank Gallery, Chobham. She liked my Blackbirds but wanted something more unusual. I've never seen a Chough so the first thing I did was look through all of my bird books and I also got on the internet because I think it's always a good idea to work from as many different pictures as possible. The basic template for this bird is the same as the blackbird but I adapted it to make it more Chough like, pointier beak, shorter tail, bigger wings (it's slightly smaller than an actual Chough) They are coastal birds so I mounted it on a rock rather than a branch.
